Energy Tracking develops its own technologies and solutions through its R&D department and uses industry best practices at both the local and international levels.

Heatguard®
System that automates the management of thermal power plant equipment for generating heat and/or hot water in real time (instantly and without storage). The system controls parameters based on actual demand, which allows for a substantial improvement in process efficiency and the intelligent integration of multiple energy sources.
This technology was developed by our company in 2008 and is unique worldwide. It also won an Avonni Award (2012) and has two LEED certifications, one accredited by IDIEM and the other by GBC Chile. It alone generates savings of over 15%.

HVAC Engineering
Our HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Engineering and Consulting area not only addresses the company's interest in efficient central system results that achieve the thermal comfort expected by users, certainty in energy costs, operation, maintenance, and extension of the asset's useful life, but we also highlight the importance of indoor air quality in these times of increasing pollution and respiratory diseases.
The use of thermal calculation and modeling software based on a BIM platform also allows us to analyze the optimal use of energy and develop predictive modeling for the project. In addition to energy analysis in the building, we analyze everything from reducing thermal demand to studying and optimizing the envelope to achieve lower-consumption thermal systems.
A redeemable derivative is the savings inherent in BIM engineering in the assembly of the specialties that the BIM model allows to control.
Part of our experience allows us to collaborate with projects seeking national CES/CVS/CEV certifications as well as international certifications addressed by LEED for new buildings (BD+C) and existing buildings (O+M).

Real-Time Heating (CTR®)
Hydraulic system, developed in 2009, which replaces domestic hot water accumulators, allowing for instant, real-time heating.
It has a special and standardized design, independent of the thermal power and for different consumption volumes (hospitals, clinics, hotels, residential buildings, etc.).
Its construction is designed to require little or no maintenance. Its adaptability allows it to be installed in existing buildings where energy efficiency is required or to replace batteries that have reached the end of their useful life.
Its design allows for low temperatures in both the primary and sanitary circuits, which means less limescale buildup and low maintenance.

Energy Audits
In our ongoing pursuit of continuous improvement and real opportunities for energy efficiency, as well as our commitment to improved operation and maintenance results for thermal power plants and their derivatives, we have implemented energy audits based on ASHRAE standards for existing commercial and industrial buildings. At the various audit levels, we seek measurable and verifiable savings standardized to the IPMVP protocol, as well as high-impact investments with a CAPEX return of less than five years thanks to OPEX well below the building's historical average.

Design and engineering of energy efficiency projects
In this early phase, we work to identify potential savings. We conduct an analysis of the project's technical and economic feasibility. We also perform the project design and engineering.

ESCO Contract
The project's technical and financial risks are transferred to the ESCO, and technical projects are also optimized, because the ESCO has a vision oriented toward process efficiency.
The companies that develop these types of projects are called ESCOs, which stands for "Energy Services Companies." The concept emerged in Europe and the United States more than 25 years ago as a way to overcome the main barriers to implementing Energy Efficiency projects.
Today, it is a successful business model, as in addition to providing a rapid return on investment for ESCOs, it delivers long-term energy and economic savings for customers.
To formalize this agreement, energy performance contracts are drawn up. Energy Tracking has currently developed more than 90 projects under this modality.

Cogeneration
Cogeneration is a technology that allows the simultaneous generation of mechanical energy (electricity) and thermal energy (useful heat) from a single fuel, and which can be used by one or more consumers.
Energy recovery can take place in the form of steam, hot and/or cold water (tri-generation), and is used for a secondary application, which may or may not be related to the main process.
The key to using this technology is that it allows you to harness the production of thermal energy or waste heat, increasing the energy efficiency of the process, which can reach up to 90% of the energy contained in the fuel.
Our company stands out as the most recognized company nationwide for the installation and commissioning of cogenerators in Chile.
We are currently representatives of the Sokratherm brand for Chile and South America. For more information, please visit their website: www.sokratherm.de

Project implementation
Energy Efficiency
The implementation of energy efficiency projects is
one of the best tools that companies have
to improve their competitiveness and productivity.
By implementing this type of projects, companies considerably reduce their energy consumption (in our projects from 25% to 70%), their operational costs, technology is incorporated, and in addition,
your carbon footprint.

Project measurement and verification
Energy Efficiency
By measuring and monitoring energy consumption and applying calculation methodologies, the effective savings from such implementation can be determined, fully completing the lifecycle of an energy efficiency project.
There are several protocols worldwide that allow for Measurement and Verification following standardized steps. Among them, the one promoted by the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO), whose protocol is the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), stands out.
At Energy Tracking, we have two professionals certified in this international protocol with more than seven years of experience, allowing us to offer this service with the highest standards of quality and reliability.

District Heating (DH)
It consists of the centralized generation of thermal energy (which can also be cold energy) and its distribution in long-distance networks, covering several buildings of different sizes and geographical locations.
A district system allows for the optimization and reduction of operational costs, as well as the reduction of greenhouse gases. This type of installation is widely used in Europe and North America.
Our company has developed several engineering projects in this area, which will be implemented in the coming years. We also participate in local and international District Heating initiatives coordinated by UN Environment.
